CAT Exam

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based entrance exam conducted in India. It is a national-level examination administered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) on a rotational basis. CAT is one of the most prestigious and competitive exams for admission into postgraduate management programs, particularly the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, offered by various IIMs and other renowned business schools in India.

The CAT exam evaluates candidates on their quantitative ability (mathematics), verbal ability (English), data interpretation, and logical reasoning skills. It is designed to assess a candidate’s aptitude, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, which are considered essential for success in the field of management.

The CAT score is used by various management institutes in India as one of the criteria for shortlisting candidates for their admission process.
